If you are trying to sell a product and making a customer feel "happy" about it, graphics can help with the selling process greatly. But if you aren't offering a shopping cart on your site, you should re-think what your site is meant to do. When you need a great website, you can do it better with thought and content. Forget the graphics. They just got boring, didn't they?
